A sunny competition day in Venlo

Last Sunday, 6 September, Venlo was the stage for a sunny competition day. Nine teams travelled to our club to play eighteen matches in total. From the very first pull there was a great, sporting atmosphere on and around the fields.

The fields were in perfect shape. With our own hand-drawn, characteristic red lines they were completely ready for a long day of Ultimate Frisbee. That preparation paid off: the games were played hard, but always with respect for one another and with plenty of positive Spirit of the Game.

Between matches there was time to catch up, cheer on teams and enjoy the beautiful weather. As if the day was not summery enough, an ice cream van even drove onto the grounds. A welcome surprise that made the competition day complete.

Thanks to all teams, players, volunteers and supporters who together made it such a successful day. Venlo looks back on a sunny day full of great matches and good energy.
